Yes. Dance floors can be rented independently and do not require booking DJ services through Groovy Sound Productions.
How long does dance floor setup take?
Setup generally takes approximately two hours, with approximately two additional hours required for breakdown and load-out after the event. The exact time can vary somewhat depending on the dance floor size, venue access, loading conditions, and installation location.
What does the venue need to provide?
For traditional dance floors, no electrical power is required. The venue needs to provide an appropriate installation area that is flat, level, clean, and large enough for the requested floor size.
For an LED dance floor, access to a minimum 20-amp electrical circuit is required.
For outdoor installations, the surface must be flat, level, and sufficiently hard and stable. Grass and uneven surfaces may require a plywood or other appropriate subfloor before the dance floor can be installed. We can coordinate the installation requirements with the venue in advance.
